Systems Engineering Training Courses

Our instructors will ensure your organization understands the established systems engineering techniques and processes to make certain that all likely aspects of your project or system are considered, and integrated.

SYS 201 – Introduction to Systems Engineering

This 1-day course introduces participants to systems engineering techniques and processes.

SYS 501 – Developing Integrated, Executable Architectures

This 2-day course provides an approach to developing executable, enterprise architectures for the practitioners, and documenting them using products from common frameworks. It also provides the principles needed to develop complete, defensible architectures, using the DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF) and established systems engineering processes and tools.

SYS 504 – Introduction to Lifecycle Modeling

This 2-day course provides an approach to developing executable architectures (from the enterprise to detailed levels) for the practitioners, and documenting them using products from common frameworks. It also provides the principles needed to develop complete, defensible architectures, using established systems engineering techniques, processes and tools. The results of this approach can be documented using any of the frameworks available, including DoDAF and Federal Enterprise Architecture Framework (FEAF).

SYS 515 – Developing Concepts of Operations

This 2-day course provides an approach to developing concepts of operations using commercial tools and techniques.

SYS 701 – Systems Engineering Project Kickoff Workshop

This 5-to-15-day course starts off the contract with a clear plan of action to enable more efficient use of contract resources. Three options, (depending on the size and complexity of the effort) are offered: small/simple – 5 day; medium/complex – 10 day; large/very complex – 15 day.

SYS 702 – Systems Engineering Workshop

This 1-to-15-day course expands upon systems engineering and DoDAF topics presented in previous courses for a client’s particular problem of interest. The number of days varies based on the difficulty of the problem and the amount of facilitation needed.
